TERMS OF SERVICE

The terms and conditions apply to all contracts of purchase and other services between Lea Beck and the customer. By connecting yourself to this website and/ or shopping within this website you accept these Terms and Conditions.


The presentation of the items in our online shop do not constitute a legally binding contract offer on our part, but is only a non-binding invitation to the consumer to order said items. By ordering the desired item(s), the consumer submits a binding offer to conclude a purchase contract.


An order and/or a contract is valid after a completed order procedure from the customer as well as a sent confirmation message from the seller.


The complete order is placed after the following steps have been made successfully:

1) Selection of the desired item(s)
2) Confirm by clicking the "Buy" button
3) Checking the information in the shopping cart
4) Click on the "Checkout" button
5) Registration in the online shop after entering the personal details (name, email  address and shipping information).
6) Another check or correction of the respective entered data.
7) Binding dispatch of the order by clicking the button "order".

After having passed through the ordering process and by clicking the button finalizing the order process the customer submits a legally binding offer of contract with regards to the products in the virtual basket.


The customer must take care when filling out all fields in the form for the order, including their shipping information. Lea Beck will not be held liable for failure to deliver ordered item(s) because of an inaccuracy or error in the shipping address.


1 SALES & SHIPMENT

Sales prices on the website are stated in EURO.

For shipping to countries outside the European Union additional costs may apply.

Taxes, fees and other additional costs from importing the goods will have to be paid by the customer. Any foreign bank chargesoccurring from the transaction will also have to be paid for by the customer.


These taxes, fees and other charges incurred by importing the goods will NOT be refunded in case the goods be returned.


Shipment is performed via the German Post office / DHL. The possibility of damage during shipping is transferred to the dispatcher at the point of submission of the shipping order and after the customer has accepted the item(s) from the dispatcher, to the customer. In the case of receiving severely damaged goods, the customer can contact the seller and make use of their right to return the goods.


Lea Beck is not responsible:

- for any stolen, lost or damages that occurred during the shipment and are related to the shipping carrier.

- for any customs delays

- for any lost, stolen, or damaged shipments related to customs delays and clearance


Customers are responsible for:

- paying additional costs for applicable customs clearance fees

- paying shipping fees and additional cost if necessary to have the order re-shipped 

If payment in advance has been agreed upon payment shall be due immediately upon conclusion oft he contract.

 

By paying with Paypal Services the payment is accomplished via PayPal (Europe),  S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg under validation of terms of use accessible on the Paypal website https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/ua/useragreement-full


By paying with Stripe the payment is accomplished via Stripe Inc., 510 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA under validation of terms of use accessible on the Stripe website https://stripe.com/payment-terms/legal


Lea Beck assures that the products are according the information of the placed order. There is no liability for slight differences in color, styles, sizes, or packaging. The seller is not liable for damage of the products. The seller is not liable for lost profit of the buyer.


2 RETURN POLICY

You have the right to cancel a contract within fourteen days.


To cancel an order we ask you to send a cancelling request via the contact form or E-mail with a detailed explanation why you would like to cancel. 


If the item(s) of the order you would like to cancel have already been shipped,

the shipping costs incurred for returning your item(s) are at your own expense. We will provide you with a refund on the ordered item(s) if:

- the item(s) are in original shape and not damaged.

- you send the cancelling request and return the item(s) within the fourteen days.

- you have provided us with the original invoice.


Make sure to include contact information with the return and if possible, please provide us with a tracking number and a brief description of your case.

Once we have evaluated the returned item(s) we will provide you with a refund through your original payment method.


The refund excludes the original cost of shipping, unless the item(s) appeared damaged when first ordered. If that is the case we ask for pictures of proof of the damages before returning the item(s).  Excluded from this are additional costs that occur if you have chosen a different type of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery offered by me. In no case will you be charged any fees for this repayment.


We can refuse the repayment until I have received the item(s) back or until you have provided evidence that you have sent the items(s) back, whichever is earlier.

 

2.1 NON RETURNABLE GOODS

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Products made especially for you cannot be returned.

 

3. REFUND POLICY

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can't offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.


3.1 REFUNDS

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.


3.2 LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS

If you haven't received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you've done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at: webshop@lea-beck.com.


3.3 SALE ITEMS

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.


3.4 EXCHANGES

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at webshop@lea-beck.com

 

4. PRIVACY POLICY3.1 WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

This website can be used without providing any personal data.  However, when you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.


When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer's IP address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.


4.1 EMAIL MARKETING

With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.


4.2 CONSENT

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. This data gets stored securely. 


If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.


4.3 CONSENT WITHDRAWAL

If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at anytime, by contacting us at webshop@lea-beck.com 


4.4 DISCLOSURE

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.


4.5 ONE.COM

Our store is hosted by One.com. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through One.com's data storage, databases and the general One.com application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.


4.6 PAYMENT

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then our third-party payment gateway might use your credit card info for that purpose. See 4.7.


4.7 THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.


However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.


In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. When you click on links on our store, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption.


4.10 AGE OF CONSENT

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.


5 CHANGES TO THESE TERMS OF SERVICE

We reserve the right to modify our terms of service at any time, so please review it frequently.


Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website.


If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.

If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
